Montana 2008 - (Day 9)

On our last day, we started off by heading over to another local bakery called Wheat Montana.  We sampled a number of their breakfast items and by far the best of them were the Ham and Cheese crossiants and the cinnamon roll.  The blueberry scone was awkwardly dense and chewy, but still very tasty and flavorful.  The egg and cheese on whole grain sandwich Sundee ordered was just okay, as the eggs were microwaved, instead of cooked in a pan or grill. Montana 2008 - (Day 8)

Tuesday started off a lot like the other mornings, with the girls sleeping in and a slow start out the door.  The three of us had a hankering for bagels, so we looked up the local bagel shop, called Bagels on Broadway (which is conveniently located on Broadway in downtown Missoula).  The bagels were good and hit the spot.  The best was probably Sundee’s blueberry bagel with mountain berry cream cheese. Montana 2008 - (Day 7)

First stop on Monday was to a place called the Shack, which was ranked highest on Yelp.com for breakfast establishments in Missoula.  The menu also said they served Huckleberry pancakes.  Unfortunately, we found out they were out of Huckleberry pancakes and also learned that their dish washer doesn’t work well.  The utensils were nasty, and had large chunks of food still stuck to them.  So, we abandoned ship and headed over to the Good Food store for some breakfast items in their little cafe.
